Where REPSLog stands out
An iPhone app. REPSLog is on the App Store with 184 ratings at 4.9 stars, plus Android and the web, all synced. REPSShield’s pricing page lists an iPhone app, but we found no REPSShield app on the App Store. On an iPhone today you would use its website.
Short-term rental bookings. REPSLog syncs guest stays from Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Hospitable and 20 more booking sites and property managers, or any iCal link, so each turnover shows up as a suggested entry. We did not find booking sync on REPSShield.
Your AI assistant. REPSLog is listed in the ChatGPT app directory and connects to Claude, so you can say “log two hours of bookkeeping for the Maple St condo” in either one. REPSShield lists a REST API, but we did not find a way to log hours from ChatGPT or Claude.
Lock screen and search. REPSLog’s timer shows as a Live Activity on the iPhone lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. Smart Search finds entries by meaning and by what is written inside your receipts.
Your own categories and a free plan. Add your own activity categories, and stay on a Free plan after the trial if you stop paying. REPSShield has 14 fixed categories and no free plan.

Switching from REPSShield to REPSLog
Export your log from REPSShield as a CSV or Excel file.
Sign in to REPSLog at app.reps-log.com on a computer and open Settings > Import Past Data.
Upload the file. REPSLog maps the columns it recognises and asks about the rest.
Match or create your properties, categories and participants, then click Import with Mappings.
Install REPSLog on your iPhone or Android and sign in. Everything you imported is already there.
The 14-day trial covers the import, so you can check everything before you pay.
