Personalized Entry Suggestions read the entries you have already logged, work out which activities you do again and again, and offer them back on your Overview as cards that become a new entry with one tap. Where the Common Activities tiles are a generic list, these are yours: “Turnover clean at Maple St, 2 hours” rather than “Scheduling property cleanings”. They are for real estate investors logging REPS or STR loophole hours whose week has a rhythm, on iPhone, Android and the web app as part of Premium.
What it does
A section on the Overview headed Add suggested entries (the Help Center calls it Suggested for You) holds up to ten cards in a horizontal rail. Each card shows a title, the sentence the entry will start with, the property, and the typical duration; the category and the participant travel with it. Tap a card and Add a New Entry opens with all of that filled in; check the fields, change the date if needed, and tap Add Entry. Nothing is written to your log without that tap.
Suggestions come from a background analysis of your recent entries. REPSLog walks your newest entries until it has seen 50 distinct descriptions, asks our AI provider to group the ones that describe the same activity, and keeps any activity that appears at least twice. The property and the participant are attached only when every entry behind a suggestion agrees on them. Durations are computed from your own entries and left blank when they vary too much to trust. Each card is checked against your live account, so a deleted property or a hidden participant never appears.
It is opt-in. Until you turn it on, the section shows an offer card, “Let AI turn your logging history into entry suggestions, ready to add in one tap.”, with a Turn On Suggestions button. That opens a screen titled Turn on activity suggestions? which explains what will be sent and offers Turn on suggestions or Not now. Nothing is sent until you press Turn on suggestions. Suggestions need at least 20 entries; below that the section says so.
Each card has an X. Dismissing a card removes it and remembers the choice, so a later run does not bring it back. View All opens the Suggested entries screen with a filter for All, Relevant and Rejected, where a rejected card can be restored.
Suggestions refresh once a week, but only when at least five new entries have been logged since the last run. If a run fails, the section shows Try again.
How it works
Log at least 20 entries. The suggestions are built from what you actually do.
On the Overview, find Add suggested entries and tap Turn On Suggestions.
Read the Turn on activity suggestions? screen and tap Turn on suggestions. The section reads “Building your suggestions, come back soon. This usually takes a minute or two.”
When the cards appear, tap the one that matches what you just did.
Add a New Entry opens with the description, property, category, participant and duration filled in. Set the date if it was not today, attach a receipt if you have one, and tap Add Entry. You land back on the Overview.
Dismiss a card you do not want with its X, or tap View All to see everything, including what you rejected.
To turn it off, open Settings > AI and Privacy, switch off AI Entries Suggestions and confirm Turn off.
Why it matters for your hours
The entries that make up a 750-hour REPS year, or clear the 500-hour and 100-hour material participation tests, are mostly repeats: the same inspection, the same turnover, the same vendor call. Logging a repeat should cost less than logging it the first time. A suggestion card carries everything you settled on last time, including the property and who did the work, so the entry is made on the day rather than reconstructed at tax time, which is what contemporaneous means.
The suggestions describe your past; they do not decide what qualifies. Review each prefilled entry before saving, and ask your CPA which activities count toward your tests.
For a short-term rental host working the STR loophole, suggestions turn the rhythm of hosting into per-property cards. After enough turnovers between guest stays, restocking runs and pricing reviews at the same listing, a card such as “Turnover clean at Maple St” carries the property with it, so one tap lands on that listing’s x/100 counter. A card keeps the performer when your entries agree on it, so a repeat “cleaner turnover at Maple St” keeps your cleaner’s hours in the property’s participant breakdown, where the “more than anyone else” comparison against cleaners, co-hosts and managers is made. Which activities count toward the 100-hour test is your CPA’s call.
Good to know
Premium only. On Free and Starter the section still shows the offer, and Turn On Suggestions opens the upgrade screen. The 14-day free trial includes it.
Needs at least 20 entries before anything is analysed. The floor is enforced on the server, not just in the app.

Opt-in and reversible. Your recent entries go to our AI provider only after you press Turn on suggestions. Providers work for us under contract, use the data only for this, and never train on it. Turning the feature off in Settings > AI and Privacy stops the suggestions and deletes the derived profile; the Help Center gives the deletion window and the 30-day restore.
Up to 10 cards. With fewer than three, the section notes that your log so far is mostly one kind of work.
Refreshes weekly, only after five or more new entries. Try again requests a fresh run; a request within ten minutes of the last run is ignored.
Team members invited to an account do not see suggestions; the profile and the controls belong to the account owner.

Does REPSLog suggest entries based on my history?
Yes. Once you have 20 entries and turn suggestions on, the Overview shows up to ten cards built from the activities you log most.
Is my log sent to an AI to make suggestions?
Only after you opt in. Your recent entries go to our AI provider to be grouped into activities; the provider works under contract and does not train on your data.
How do I turn off suggested entries in REPSLog?
Open Settings > AI and Privacy, switch off AI Entries Suggestions and confirm Turn off. The rail disappears and the derived profile is deleted.
Why do I only see one or two suggestions?
Your entries so far mostly describe one kind of work. The rail fills in as you log more variety; suggestions refresh weekly once five or more new entries exist.
Can I remove a suggestion I do not want?
Yes. Tap the X on the card. Restore it later from View All under the Rejected filter.
Do suggestions work on the web app?
Yes. The rail, the opt-in screen and View All are the same on the web app as on iPhone and Android.
Will REPSLog suggest my Airbnb turnover entries?
Yes, once you have 20 entries and suggestions turned on. An activity you have logged at least twice, such as a turnover clean at one listing, becomes a card with the property and typical duration filled in, and the saved entry counts toward that property’s STR counter.
Are suggested entries a good alternative to setting reminders for every task?
They cover a different job. Reminders tell you to log; suggestions tell you what to log, based on your own history, with the form prefilled. Many hosts use both.
