The REPSLog Referral Program gives every account a personal invite link. A friend who installs REPSLog through it gets a discount on an annual plan, and once they complete 30 days of a paid subscription you receive an Amazon gift card by email: $30 for Annual Premium, $20 for Annual Starter. It is for any real estate investor who knows another landlord or STR host logging hours for REPS or the STR loophole, and the link can be copied from the iPhone, Android or web app.
What it does
Every REPSLog account has a Refer a Friend page. In Settings the row is labelled “Refer a Friend, Get $30”, and on the iPhone and Android dashboard a banner reads “Refer a Friend, Get a $30 Amazon Gift Card” until you dismiss it. Both open the same page.
It explains the deal: your friends “get up to $20 off their subscription and you’ll earn an Amazon gift card for every successful referral”, paid by email “once your friend signs up for a free trial and completes 30 days of a paid subscription”, based on the plan they chose:
Annual Premium: $30 gift card
Annual Starter: $20 gift card
Under the explanation is a Copy Invite Link button. It puts a ready-to-send message on your clipboard: “Download REPSLog using my link and get $20 off the annual plan.” followed by your personal link, https://app.reps-log.com/fr/ plus your account id. A toast confirms “Invite link copied to clipboard”. Paste it into a text, an email or a group chat; there is no limit on how many people you send it to. A line under the button links to the Referral Program Terms and Conditions.
When your friend opens the link, it sends them to the App Store or Google Play (on a computer, to the REPSLog website, from which they can sign up on the web app) and remembers that you referred them. Their first subscription screen is headed “Your Friend invited you to REPSLog!” and the annual plans show the referral price with the regular price struck through: on the web checkout, $179.99 instead of $199.99 for Annual Premium and $134.99 instead of $149.99 for Annual Starter. Monthly plans stay at the normal price. The button reads “Start 14 Day Free Trial”: the discount applies to the annual plan that starts after the trial.
The offer is for new customers only. On an account that has subscribed to REPSLog before, the app shows “Referral offer is only valid for new users” and the regular plans.
How it works
Open Settings and tap Refer a Friend, Get $30. On the iPhone or Android dashboard you can also tap the “Refer a Friend” banner.
Tap Copy Invite Link. Your message and link are now on the clipboard.
Paste the message wherever you talk to your friend. The link never changes, so you can post it once in a group.
Your friend taps the link. On a phone it opens the App Store or Google Play; on a computer it opens the REPSLog website, and the referral is remembered when they sign up on the web app.
Their first subscription screen reads “Your Friend invited you to REPSLog!” with the discounted annual prices. They pick Annual Starter or Annual Premium and tap Start 14 Day Free Trial.
After the trial their annual plan starts at the referral price. Once they complete 30 days of that paid subscription, REPSLog emails you an Amazon gift card, $30 for Premium or $20 for Starter.
Repeat with the next friend. Each successful referral earns its own gift card.
Why it matters for your hours
Meeting the 750-hour REPS test or the 500-hour material participation test is a year-long habit, and it is easier to keep when the people you work with keep the same records. A partner on a duplex, a co-host on a short-term rental or a friend who just closed on their first rental all need their own contemporaneous log. Your link gets them onto the same tool at a lower annual price, the plan that covers a whole tax year.
It also keeps the record clean: everyone tracks their own hours in their own account rather than a shared spreadsheet, which is what your CPA would ask for anyway. If your spouse should be logging into your account, managed accounts on Premium do that; the referral link is for someone who needs their own log.
For an Airbnb or Vrbo host using the STR loophole, the person to refer is often the co-host. The test is per property, 100 hours in each short-term rental by default and more than anyone else who worked on it, which is why you log your co-host, cleaner and manager as participants in your own account. A co-host friend with their own listings needs their own log for the same test, with their own per-property hours / 100 rows and participants. Your invite link gets them a discounted annual plan, and Annual Premium includes booking calendar sync. Whether either of you passes is a question for your CPAs.

Works on iPhone, Android and the web app. The dashboard banner is only on the phone apps; on the web app use Settings.
Managed-account users (people invited to someone else’s account) do not see the Refer a Friend row; the referrer is always the account owner.
Your friend must be new to REPSLog. Accounts that have subscribed before, on any platform, get the regular prices. A co-host or fellow Airbnb or Vrbo host qualifies like anyone else.
The discount applies to annual plans only, and the 14-day free trial still comes first.
The gift card is sent after 30 days of a paid subscription, so a friend who cancels during the trial or in the first month does not count.
Your friend can subscribe in the app or on the web checkout; both record the referral.
The link is tied to your account, not to a code, so there is nothing for your friend to type at checkout.
Referral records are kept for billing purposes even if the friend later deletes their account, as the Privacy Policy explains.
REPSLog never messages your contacts; sharing the link is up to you.
